In Kalastia, books are burning. The new government, led by power-hungry General Malin, is determined to rewrite history. To renowned artist Arda Kalev, the situation seems hopeless. When orders are given to destroy all the art in the National Gallery, including Arda’s precious statue Light, Arda must decide if freedom is worth fighting-and dying-for.

Sue Leather (MA) is a full-time ELT consultant and writer. She has been writing original learner fiction since 1990, and is now also an editor. In 2000, she set up her own consultancy group and now works on educational projects all over the world. Her main interests within ELT are materials development, teacher training and trainer training. Currently, Sue is Series Development Editor on the new Page Turners graded reading series.
